Chaos. That’s the word many founders use to describe their startups when they are in a period of hypergrowth. Chaos is inevitable when your team is scaling from tens to hundreds, or even thousands of employees in the matter of a few years. But great founders learn to navigate this chaos and create efficiencies for their product and organization to adapt to each stage of growth. Last month, we partnered with YC Continuity to host the Scaleup Offsite, a conference for tech founders focused on scaling all aspects of a business. Throughout the day, speakers covered a range of topics from scaling culture, to building your executive team and board of directors, to scaling growth and engineering teams.

We invited an amazing list of guest speakers, many of which have scaled startups from the ground up or have helped lead companies through a hypergrowth stage. Speakers included: Reid Hoffman (Co-Founder of LinkedIn and Partner at Greylock Partners), Sam Altman (Managing Partner, Y Combinator), Patrick Collison (Co-Founder & CEO, Stripe), Joe Gebbia (Co-Founder & CPO, Airbnb), Glenn Kelman (CEO, Redfin), Jason Kilar (Former CEO, Hulu & Vessel), Bret Taylor (Co-Founder & CEO, Quip), Sarah Friar (CFO, Square), Jason Child (CFO, Opendoor), Gustaf Alstromer (Product Lead for Growth, Airbnb), Ed Baker (Former VP of Product and Growth, Uber), Jeff Markowitz (Talent Partner, Greylock Partners), Ali Rowghani (Partner, YC Continuity), and Anu Hariharan (Partner, YC Continuity).

We plan to publish the talks on YouTube, as well as our podcast channels. We will release two talks each week for the next month, and today are starting with Reid and Sam’s fireside chat. Make sure to subscribe to our YouTube and podcast channels — you won’t want to miss these!
