Welcome Holly Rose Faith as Greylock’s Executive Talent Partner

We are excited to announce that Holly Rose Faith is joining Greylock as our Executive Talent Partner. Holly Rose will lead executive and board-level recruiting for Greylock portfolio companies. She’ll work hand-in-hand with our core talent leader Glen Evans, who joined us in late 2018 from Slack and helps our portfolio companies hire core engineering, product and design talent. Holly Rose will be an instrumental part of Greylock’s high-caliber operations team that helps accelerate the success of the entrepreneurs we back.

We focus our investing at the earliest stages, and are active in the company-building process from startup to scaleup. Based upon decades of working with entrepreneurs, it’s clear to us that attracting and retaining executive talent is one of the highest points of leverage for any company. To successfully scale a large, market-defining business, you have to build the right leadership team. Executive talent recruiting can be particularly tricky, as the best executives can be hard to identify and access, and are rarely looking for new positions.

We knew Holly Rose by reputation, and that the quality of her work stood out among her peers. So we reached out, and as we started to get to know her it quickly became clear that Holly Rose was a great fit for the Greylock team. She’s passionate about the entrepreneurial journey, an outlier in terms of performance, and a trusted partner to the founders and executives with whom she works. She has the character we look for when we bring new partners on to our team. She’s driven to win, and is also team-oriented, humble and high-integrity. Holly Rose is a sterling example of how a non-investing partner can add tremendous value. She is very effective working 1-on-1 with a founder or candidate, and is also strategic about designing and implementing programs that can have impact at scale across a portfolio of businesses.

Holly Rose is experienced in the competitive and ever-evolving world of recruiting executive talent for high-growth, venture-backed startups. She comes to Greylock from NEA, where she worked closely with entrepreneurs at all stages of growth to help them build their executive teams, and to share best practices across the portfolio. She’s built a deep network of senior executives across a variety of technology sectors, and has recruited top execs to emerging companies including Databricks, Transfix and Casper.
